Angela Barrett was born on April 26, 1952 and passed away on 7th July 2012 after a long battle with Breast Cancer. She was much loved by her family and many friends and is dearly missed. During her illness she was at times in a great deal of pain and tiredness but she had an amazing way of looking on the bright side and concerning herself with the well being of those around her. An example of her care and concern for helping others was her determination to raise money for The Christie along with other charities. She asked for donations instead of presents for her 60th birthday raising several hundred pounds,ran the race for life and received generous donations towards her charities after she passed away and would be pleased to know that fundraising has continued in her absence. Angela was a one in a million Mother, Wife, Nanna, Sister and friend.
